Connecting in Therapeutic Groups

Adult DBT Groups | Teen DBT Groups | EMDR Trauma Group

Connection to ourselves and to others is a cornerstone of wellbeing and a big piece of what we deepen in the DBT Skills Groups, which provides us with more effective coping skills that increase mindfulness and the ability to regulate our emotions.

What are DBT Skills Groups?

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a skills-based therapy that helps individuals increase work through difficult emotions, develop more self-acceptance, and essentially live healthier and happier lives, and for many, the groups help live more stable lives.

DBT is an evidence-based therapy that truly helps people, teens, and adults, to better understand and work with their emotions in order to feel more grounded and mindful. Learn practical and doable tools to create longer-lasting and deeper relationships.

DBT Skills Help Us Feel More Connected

Our society and culture are so often disconnected; leaving us lacking in developing this essential sense of belonging. We often learn to seek a sense of belonging in empty and dysfunctional ways such as perfectionism, productivity, materialism, codependency, and addictions.
